Our first experience of Freestyle Cruising was entered with some trepidation, and from the moment we entered the terminal building in Miami, through the super slick processing of our documentation and rapid embarkation, everything was thoroughly professional. Our first encounter with a female Cruise Director was a welcome hint of what was to come during the whole of the cruise when food, hospitality and overall standards were never seen to slip.
The freestyle dining experience was not only superb in quality and variety of food, but the service was far more intimate and personal than is the norm on set dining sittings, and so good that we never felt the desire to sample any of the specialist dining options available throught the Sun.
Overall, our friends, for whom this was only their second cruise, and ourselves are totally sold on both the concept, and NCL's delivery.
