Dining

There are 4 main dining venues with open seating arrangement. Compass Rose Restaurant is spacious with glass engraved partitions giving an intimate atmosphere. Tables are arranged in such a way that diners can have a picture window view. Menu includes continental, vegetarian and spa cuisine. Signatures Restaurant serves candlelight dinner and has white tables and burgundy chairs. Conventional French fare is served here or guests have an option to choose from Menu du Monde offering world wide cuisine. The meals are prepared by using Cordon Bleu method. Food and service is excellent here.

Latitudes is the open-galley restaurant, passengers will find that the menu is predominantly American and a choice of regional wines and innovative fusion dishes is served. The indoor/outdoor La Veranda serves a combination of Mediterranean and North African cuisine. Menu includes stuffed aubergines, Lamb Tagine with dried figs and almonds. La Veranda is an ideal dining venue for breakfast and lunch buffets in a casual environment. During evenings dinner is served buffet-style and table service is also available. The buffet menu is limited. The Poolside Grill has wooden tables where burgers and hotdogs are served at daytime.

Complimentary soft drinks, ,wine and other alcoholic beverages are served in all dining venues, however expensive wine is available at an extra charge. None of these restaurants levy extra charges. Afternoon tea is served in the Observation Lounge. Connoisseur Club is dedicated for cigar smokers, here passengers can relax and enjoy their favourite cigar.

Dress code is casual during the day. For evenings its semi casual, for e.g., jacket and tie for men and ladies appear in casual elegance. For formal evenings, men wear dark suit or dinner jacket and women wear cocktail dress. 24-hour room service menu is available. Compass Rose Restaurant menu will be served course-by-course to the guests’ suit during regular dining hours.

Entertainment

There are live shows, games of chance, cabarets, Karaoke and dancing. Constellation Theatre stages live performances and lectures. The 2-tier show lounge has full-size proscenium stage where Broadway musical revues are performed. At the casino guests can play blackjack, mini-craps, roulette, video poker and slot machines. Voyager Lounge is an ideal place for having pre-dinner cocktails and listening to music.

Horizon Lounge has a three-quarter moon shaped dance floor overlooking the sea. There is a bar located in the Horizon Lounge. The pianist at the Observation Lounge plays the grand piano situated there. Connoisseur Club furnished with English club chairs has a climate-controlled humidor for the cigar-smoking guests. The library has books and DVDs which can be borrowed by the guests. At the interne/business centre guests can access their e-mails or attend computer training classes.

The card room has bridge instructors; at the art gallery auctions are conducted. The boutique offers a limited choice of goods. Stars Nightclub has an oval shaped dance floor to facilitate dancing. Also on-board is an observatory.

The ship organises a programme called Club Mariner for the children from 6 to 17 years of age. Children are divided into 2 groups, based on their age. The Club Mariner counsellors organises different activities such as crafts, movies, games and “food fun” to entertain the children.
