Public Areas

There are 9 passenger decks on-board with a capacity to accommodate 2199 passengers.

Public areas have a marble reception area with roomy open areas containing glass windows overlooking the decks.

Tosca Deck features the gymnasium, health centre, Le Terme, beauty parlour, Buffalo Children, beer bar, ice cream bar, Lo Spinnaker Pool Bar, Le Piscine Pool, II Patio Open Restaurant and Le Vele Cafeteria.

The Rigoletto Deck contains the card room, library, Caruso Lounge and medical centre. Otello Deck houses the Teatro Dell Opera, Aroma Coffee Bar, Cotton Club, Montecarlo Casino, La Cabala Piano Bar, photo shop, cyber café and L’Approdo Restaurant.

Aida Deck comprises of the shopping area, Sotto Vento Pub, duty free shop, jewellery shop, Via Condotti shopping mall, Di Spagna Pizza and a La Caravella restaurant.

La Boheme Deck contains virtual reality games and Byblos Discotheque.

At day time, the deck behind the disco on top of the stern’s wake is an ideal place to relax.

Leisure facilities include 2 main restaurants, 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis, 18 bars, 2 show lounges, a casino, Internet centre, library, disco, shopping area, arcade and a beauty salon.
Opera Health Centre accommodates the gym and enclosed relaxation and beauty salon areas with treatment rooms. The steam and sauna rooms for both men and women are spacious and free of charge. The gym has modern fitness paraphernalia. Yoga and Latin dance classes are offered for a small fee. Sports facilities comprise of a jogging track, aerobics, golf simulator, mini golf, basketball, volleyball, football table tennis etc. The fitness centre has a gym, sauna, treatment rooms and a beauty salon.

Buffalo Bill is the kid’s facility where children are grouped under 3 categories ranging from 3-8, 9-12 and 13-plus. Themed parties are conducted apart from various pool and sport games, arts and crafts, treasure hunts, mini disco and water games.

Cabins

MSC Opera has 856 cabins graded from 1 to 11 with measurements ranging from 13 sq metres to 23 sq metres. There are 467 ocean view cabins, 172 cabins with balcony and 395 inside cabins.

All cabins and suites are decorated in Mediterranean-style in light, bright colours and fabrics with spreads, bed skirts, pillows and bolsters. Though the size of the accommodations is small, the clever use of mirrors and skilfully planned storage area alleviate it. Every cabin and suite has a well-stocked minifridge. There is a queen-sized bed, sitting area with desk. Other amenities include TV, radio, safe, hairdryer, phone and a bath with shower. Suites with balcony have a bathroom, living room, spacious wardrobe, coffee table and desk. Other facilities include internet connection on payment for the guest’s lap top.
