Public Areas

The ship has 9 passenger decks. The Sports Deck has a tennis court, basketball court, Crow’s Nest, Club Hall, video arcade and The Loft. The Lido Deck accommodates the Terrance Grill, whirlpools, paddling pool, Dolphin Bar, Lido Pool, Lido Restaurant, outside pool, The Green House Spa and Salon that features gym, aerobics area, sauna and massage rooms.

The Upper Promenade Deck has a Frans Hals Lounge balcony, boutique, Ocean Bar, shopping arcade, Explorer’s Lounge, casino, Casino Bar, Piano Bar, Seaview Lounge, art gallery, Hudson Room, Piano Bar and Exploration’s Café.

The Frans Hals Lounge, photo gallery, photo shop, shore excursion office, art gallery, main gallery, Wine Tasting Bar and Gourmet Shops, Pinnacle Grill, Wajang Theatre and Culinary Arts Centre are located on the Promenade Deck. The reception is situated on the Dolphin Deck. The 3-tier Atrium is accessible from the Lower Promenade Deck, Promenade Deck and Upper Promenade Deck. The 2-tier Rotterdam Dining Room is located on Promenade Deck and Upper Promenade Deck. A laundrette is available on most of the decks.

The on-board leisure facilities include 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis, 4 restaurants, show lounge, 2 bars, casino, cinema, library, and an internet centre. For sports enthusiasts there is a gym, jogging track, shuffleboard and tennis. The ship’s spa offers aerobics, Pilates, aquarobics and cardio Ki-Bo circuit swell as stationary bikes, treadmills, rowing machines, weights and weight machines. There is also a beauty salon on-board.

A paddling pool is also available for children. The Children’s Room on the Sports Deck can also be used as a venue for meetings.

Cabins

Volendam has 719 cabins. They are graded from PS to N class. Sizes range from 105 sq metres to 16 sq metres. There are 357 ocean view cabins and 165 inside cabins. Balconies are available in 197 cabins.

Cabins are elegantly furnished and well appointed. All cabins and suites have a TV, music channel, hairdryer, telephone and sitting area.

Penthouse Veranda suites have 1 king-size bed, living room, dressing room, dining room, sofa bed, VCR, minibar, pantry, fridge, guest toilet, oversize whirlpool bath and shower. Concierge service is also available.

There are 21 cabins for disabled cruisers.
