Overview

Elegant and understated, Century is smaller than some of the newer ships in the fleet, but a popular option. In spring 2006, Century underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment to its cabins, resulting in 314 private verandas, 14 new Sky Suites and 174 new Concierge Class state rooms. The ship also has a large conference centre. Service is of a generally high standard.

Suitability

Cruisers who opt for Celebrity appreciate a more upmarket experience. Generally more popular among singles and couples, although there is also a baby-listening service to attract the family market.

Selected cruises during the year are adult-only.

To live it up without paying top notch, opt for Concierge Class, a new grade of Celebrity accommodation, between standard cabin and suite.

The price includes welcome bottle of champagne, fruit daily, late afternoon canapés, extended room service menu, priority (same day) laundry.
