Over 15 years old, the ship, a sister to Costa Allegra, offers comfortable cruises with slightly tired interior and facilities. Food is continental and tailored to the German market. The theatre is poor by cruises standards and seats often have a poor view. Cabins are standard and drab. Offers Mediterranean cruises.

Staff are friendly and attentive, with a casual and fun outlook. Officers are generally Italian, but the rest of the crew are generally Filipino and offer good service.

Most suited to those wanting a young, fun, cruise in an Italian-style. The client base is generally German families with children, European and youngish.

Hints & Tips

Get on the deck early as there is not a lot of space to cater for all passengers and there is limited viewing from observation lounge. The pool is small. Try for an outside view cabin, as most are interior. Congestion at meal times can be a problem.
