Public Areas

The ship has 9 spacious decks. It is the same length and size as ships which normally carry 1500 passengers, but it accommodates about 200 passengers less.

Restaurants and the beauty salon are situated in the Main deck. The various facilities available in the Broadway Deck include Broadway Show Lounge, card/reading room, internet lounge, swimming pool, casino and shops. The Mezzanine Bar and Lounge and High Spirits are located in the Promenade deck.

The fitness facilities in the Bridge Deck include Oceans Health Club, pools and spa-massage (with fitness facilities for cardiovascular exercise). The sport activities in the Eagle Deck include football, basketball, table tennis and video arcade.

The on-board leisure facilities in the ship include 3 restaurants, 5 bars, 2 lounges (1 non-smoking), nightclub, 2 pools, one Jacuzzi, whirlpools and casino. The pools are located on deck 5 and on deck 8. The pools are small and pool decks get crowded with little shelter from the wind.

There are 3 small service launderettes.

To entertain kids, facilities like teen area and video arcade are provided on the Mariner deck.

Cabins

Thomson Spirit has a total of 626 cabins varying from an inside cabin to a Presidential suite. The size of the cabins ranges from 13-16 sq metres, while the suites are 26 sq metres in size. The Presidential suite is double the size of a deluxe cabin. There are 423 cabins which have a ocean view. 3% of the ship’s cabins are provided with balconies or verandas.

All cabins and suites on the ship are air-conditioned (temperature control is provided). The cabins have 2 full length wardrobes, one queen sized bed or two single beds, en-suite bathroom with shower and WC, satellite TV, hairdryer, telephone and a music system. The outside cabins have 4 berth cabins with extra wardrobe space and two upper berths that can be folded. Picture windows are available in both the deluxe cabins and suites, but the views in some cabins may be obstructed by life boats. The suites have a separate lounge area with table, chairs, sofa and minibar.

To assist disabled cruisers, there are 4 large outside cabins located at the front of the ship.
