Overview

Sister ship to Seabourn Spirit, Seabourn Pride is a luxurious product, favoured by the likes of Bill Gates and other people who want an upmarket, relaxed experience.

Because of the ship’s size (200 passengers), it is able to reach ports that are inaccessible to larger cruise ships, meaning some of the ports of call are off-the-beaten-track.

The dress code is relaxed in the day and more formal in the evening. Most drinks, except brand names, are included in the price.

A recent introduction is the service of a personal shopper at selected ports of call. This costs extra.

Suitability

The ship suits couples who are well-travelled and who appreciate being treated as individuals rather than a number.

The majority of passengers are American, although there are some Brits and other nationalities, and much of the entertainment is geared at the US market.

Not suitable for families.
