Public Areas

The ship has 7 passenger deck, and all are quite spacious.

Deck 8 features Le Grill, La Palette Lounge and a pool. Deck 7 houses the Connoisseur Club.
Deck 6 has a fitness centre, Fare Tahiti Gallery, Spa Carita, La Boutique and La Veranda.
Deck 5 features L`etoile Restaurant, Le Grand Salon and a casino.

There is adequate space for sunbathing on the Sun Deck, which is located on Deck 9.
The on-board leisure facilities include a casino, Espresso Bar, library and club, and the sports facilities include a table tennis court.

Recreational facility includes water sports platform, where cruisers can enjoy kayaking, scuba diving, waterskiing and windsurfing. PADI certification programme is also available.

The fitness centre is well-equipped with treadmills, stairmasters and exercise bicycles. Spa and beauty salon offers body wraps, facials, massages, Thalassotherapy, aromatherapy and other treatments to rejuvenate the cruisers. The services offered in the steam room are chargeable.

A medical centre is available on the ship. There is no special children’s programme available on the ship.

Cabins

The Paul Gauguin has 160 cabins, ranging from Class F cabins to Owner Suites. The size of an Owner Suite is 50 sq metres. The Class F cabins are 19 sq metres in size. There are 80 cabins which provide ocean view and 80 cabins have balcony.

All the cabins have a queen size bed, cotton robes, hairdryer, TV/ VCR, refrigerator stocked with soft drinks and mineral water, marble bathroom with tub, a sitting area, wardrobe, vanity unit and ample storage space. The cabins are well decorated with classic crown mouldings and cherry-coloured wood. The Owner Suite features a bathroom with a separate shower and dressing area. Even the smallest cabins on the ship either have picture windows or 2 portholes.

There is a wheelchair cabin for disabled cruisers.
