Public Areas

There are 9 decks on the ship. The sophisticated interiors, the 3-deck atrium and the stunning display of art work are the highlights of the ship. The Promenade Deck has the main show lounge, photo gallery, internet café, Java Café, Hudson Room, Half Moon Room, Club Hal, Wajang Theatre and 2-tier Rotterdam Dining Room.

Upper Promenade Deck has card room, main show balcony, boutiques, Ocean Bar, Gourmet Shop, Figurehead Gallery, Explorer`s Lounge, Puzzle Corner, library, Pinnacle Grill, 2-tier Rotterdam Dining Room and Queen’s Room. Navigation Deck holds the Neptune Lounge and a swimming pool. Lido Deck has a gym, beauty salon, lido pool, paddling pool, Dolphin Bar, Lido Restaurant and Lido Terrace, Ocean Spa and Terrace Grill.

Sports deck has Crow`s Nest, theatre, Club Hal and jogging track. 3 pools are available on-board for the cruisers.

There are 2 main bars, a library, cyber café, 2 show lounges, a casino and a theatre.
The ship has 2 Jacuzzis, a sports deck complete with tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard, jogging track, fitness centre, health spa and pool. The Ocean Spa fitness centre features sauna and steam rooms, massage rooms, juice bar, barber shop and beauty salon. Ocean Spa offers massages with aromatic oils and fragrant herbs.

There is a special pool for children on Lido Deck. The children’s club and video arcade provide entertainment for 5-17 year olds.

Cabins

Statendam has 633 cabins. Ranges of cabins are from Penthouse Veranda Suites to Standard Inside cabins. Cabins are graded from PS to N. Penthouse Veranda Suites measure 108 sq metres with veranda and Standard Inside cabins measure 17 sq metres. There are 352 cabins with ocean views and 149 cabins are provided with balconies. Wardrobe space is limited but spacious drawers are available.

The rooms are designed to ensure privacy and standard amenities are provided. Rooms have queen size beds convertible to 2 single beds, telephone, TV, music system, shower and hairdryer. Most of the cabins have verandas.

The Penthouse Veranda Suites have 1 king-size bed, dining room, dressing room, living room, pantry, private veranda, a sofa bed, VCR, minibar, fridge, guest toilet, floor-to- ceiling windows, whirlpool bath and full bath with bathrobes.

There are 6 cabins specially designed for disabled cruisers.
