The cabins are big, although some passengers have said they are not as spacious as those on Holland America Line or Carnival ships. A mid-size ship, it does not offer the same amount of amenities of the larger Millennium class ships, fewer balconies and no speciality restaurants.
Staff are happy, polite and responsive.SuitabilityMore likely to suit experienced cruisers who don’t mind paying a bit more to have a high standard of service, cabin and food.
The majority of passengers are American, followed by British and there are also some German/Spanish passengers.
Families should look elsewhere. Suitable for passengers who don’t mind booking an inside cabin – there is a higher number than average of inside cabins on this ship.Hints & TipsThe large number of inside cabins means overall prices are low.
There is a surcharge for the thalassotherapy pool.
Some inside cabins near guest relations on Plaza Deck have pillars floor to ceiling, meaning if you have a double bed, the person near the wall has to clamber over the other to get out.
Bring your own books – passengers have said the library is poorly stocked.
The ship has Internet access.
