A class above Royal Caribbean and Princess, Celebrity has those extra touches, such as a glass of champagne upon embarkation, linen napkins and good quality china in the self-service restaurants, or lemon sorbet and cold towels brought out to you as you sit by the pool.
If you book a Concierge Class – a new grade of Celebrity accommodation, between standard cabin and suite, - you get a number of benefits, including welcome bottle of champagne, fruit daily, late afternoon canapés, extended room service menu, priority (same day) laundry. Service is provided by smiling, polite and responsive staff, who are willing to go the extra mile.SuitabilityExcellent value for money. Suitable for families, although sister company Royal Caribbean has better kids’ facilities.
Most passengers will be couples who like sailing on big ships yet still like the small, special touches, such as a glass of champagne upon embarkation.Hints & TipsIf you pay for coffee in the Cora Coffee shop, you get free pastries.
Interactive TV in your cabin allows you to check your on-board account and watch paid-for movies.
There is an extra charge for yoga and other classes
Some passengers have complained the library is not very well stocked. Tips can be billed to on board account or paid in cash.
