Fantastic, August 2006 Reviewer: A Reviewer from Yorkshire UK We went on the trip to Port Said, Egypt. We were treated like royalty from the moment we boarded. The cabin was brilliant, the food fabulous and the entertainment a treat. The trip to Cairo and the Pyramids was amazing, I would highly recommend it.
My view, October 2004 Reviewer: Dave Shep from Bournemouth, UK I went on the cruise from Limassol to Port Said for a day trip to Cairo. The onboard facilities on this ship were superb. Lovely cabin, good food and service. My trip included the day coach tour to Cairo's museum (brilliant Tutankhamen exhibition), the Pyramids (Wow), Sphinx (slightly disappointing) and Papyrus shop (interesting) the whole tour was a not to be turned down opportunity if you are in Limassol.
Excellent, 15 August 2005 Reviewer: Andys Myratogloy from Russia The trip was excellent , and I hope that I would be in the ship again. The show was ok bud the singer was excellent (the girl). We were looked after from the minute we got on the coach to when we arrived back again.
The cabin was good and clean and the crew was excellent.
Smelly Boat, October 2005 Reviewer: Dawn from Lincolnshire, UK We went to Egypt from Cryprus on a 2 day cruise on this ship, and reckon it needs a revamp. The decor is very dated and the smell and colouration of tobacco was extreme.
Mini Cruise to Egypt, August 2002 Reviewer: Mrs Elaine Plater from Luton, Bedfordshire We decided to book our short trip to Egypt when we arrived at Cyprus which made it half the price of pre-booking with the holiday company. The trip was excellent. We were looked after from the minute we got on the coach to when we arrived aback again.
The ship was beautiful, the cabin clean and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure your trip was safe and enjoyable. The entertainment was excellent as was the entertainment for the children.
I will certainly be booking another trip on the Salamis Glory perhaps this time to Rhodes.
My tip to anyone wanting to do this trip though is to book it when you get there in any Travel Agents. It's something you will remember for a long time!!!
The whole trip had a well timed itinerary which was needed when there were so many people on board speaking different languages.
Excellent customer service , April 2005 Reviewer: Claire Smith from Wolverhampton , England My son aged 10 and I travelled last week - we arrived with minutes to spare - we were shown to our room which should have been on the bottom deck - it was in fact on top deck with 2 very large port hole right next to reception.
There were 78 passengers on board and 100 + staff we were treated like royality.
Yes the ship is old but we enjoyed it and it has given my son the taste for cruising - we would travel with this ship again thank you for a enjoyable trip to Eygpt Mrs C Smith and Ashley
