This is probably the closest you will get to a proper sailing experience, aside from chartering your own yacht. With five rigged masts, Royal Clipper is the largest sailing ship on the seas and spends a lot of time under sail. It is a laid back, but luxurious experience and the ship operates in the Caribbean in the winter and the Mediterranean in the summer. Most of the cabins have an outside view and some have their own balcony. The captain and crew are very welcoming and there’s even a parrot on board.
Suitability
Suitable for any yachting enthusiast who likes to cruise in laid-back, casual luxury will love this ship, which attracts an international clientele. However, it is not wheelchair accessible. People who hate the Broadway-style shows on huge cruise ships will love the fact that entertainment on Royal Clipper consists of the captain telling sea-faring stories and passengers and crew making their own entertainment.
