Public Areas

The ship has of 5 passenger decks. Promenade Deck includes Lido Deck, buffet, Lido Bar, Belvedere Restaurant, library, boutique, casino, Marco Polo Lounge and Explorer Bar. This deck has a swimming pool where towels are provided free of cost. The shopping complex has an exclusive collection of souvenirs, gifts, jewellery, clothing and duty free items. Sun Deck is featured with Starlight Dancing, piano bar, massage/ sauna, radio office and bridge. This deck has adequate space for sunbathing. Sports facilities are available on this deck.

Riviera Deck is facilitated with tourist office, private terrace, Purser’s Office and beauty salon. During unfavourable weather the portholes on the Caribbean Deck will remain closed. A medical centre is housed on the Pacific Deck.

Onboard leisure facilities include 2 lounges, 1 outside pool, 3 bars, a small library and the card room. The recreational amenities include a sauna and a compact gymnasium for fitness enthusiasts. The sports facilities consists shuffleboard, darts, bingo and backgammon. A beauty salon is available for both men and women and offers hairdressing, facials, manicure, pedicure and massage.

There is no children`s facility on this ship.

Cabins

Royal Star has 111 cabins. The range of the cabin varies from President Suite to standard inside cabins. The size of the President suite is 37 sq metres while the standard inside cabins measure 10 sq metres. Ocean views can be admired from 96 cabins and 1 cabin has a balcony. The interior of the cabins are well decorated and offers a pleasing environment. All the cabins have sufficient hanging and storage space and have standard amenities such as a private shower, WC, twin beds, an intercom, fridge, taped music and a safe. Most of the cabins have either a porthole or window. Most of the suites have 2 bathrooms, minibar, hairdryer and TV/VCR. President Suite is the most luxurious suite on the ship and offers some special features such as a balcony and sitting area.

The ship has no wheelchair cabins to support the disabled cruisers.
