Both operate a fixed dining system, where passengers are allocated a table and time to eat for the duration of the cruise. There are two sittings – 7pm and 9pm. Passengers should indicate their choice when booking.
Both restaurants are open for waiter service breakfast and lunch. Passengers can also help themselves to breakfast and lunch in the Prometeo buffet on decks nine and 10.
The Bacco Club speciality restaurant on deck 11 is open for dinner and serves dishes designed by Michelin-starred Italian chef Ettore Bocchia. Bookings are required and there is a moderate per head charge.
Passengers in Samsara cabins have exclusive free access to the Samsara Restaurant on deck three. This serves Ettore Bocchia dishes with reduced fat and salt for more health-conscious passengers.
The Juventas Café on deck five serves coffee and cake for an additional cost.
EntertainmentIn the daytime, expect ice-carving demonstrations and games are staged round the pool, as well as bingo, dance classes, art auctions and wine-tasting events.
Come the evening there are daily shows in the theatre ranging from song-and-dance performances to comedians and the ubiquitous crew show.
Gamblers can dice with lady luck in the casino and around the ship, there will be plenty of live music in the evenings, especially in the Luna Lounge, Apollo Grand Bar and piano bar, and dancing until late in the disco.
