Overview

A newer, glitzy ship. Expect a lively and elegant cruise in very comfortable surroundings, with mainly Italian guests. The interior is beautifully decorated, particularly the stunning lobby. Movies are the theme on this ship. Cabins are comfortable and there are more than 700 with balconies. Eating is best in the Café Florian and the food is typical Italian. Expect a classy voyage. Cruises include the Mediterranean.

Staff are friendly and attentive, with a casual and fun outlook. Officers are Italian, but the rest of the crew are multi-national.

Suitability

This ship is glitzy, like its parent Carnival, and ideal for those first-time cruisers wanting an Italian-style experience on a ship with plenty of desk space and decent interiors.

The client base is international European and youngish.

Hints & Tips

For all the excellence of this ship, some people may find the shows a bit disappointing. Also be aware of the sales staff in the spa trying to sell to you at any opportunity.
