Overview

The ship was formerly Festival Cruises’ European Vision, but has been refurbished in the MSC modern style.

There are a good number of cabins with balconies and many have an outside view.

The food and wines, as expected are of good quality.

Furnishings and public areas are adequate and stylish.

South America and the Mediterranean are some of the destinations for this ship.

The European outlook ensures service is good, although fairly relaxed.

And tipping is with euros.

Staff, though, can be quite pushy with their extra sales.

Suitability

For those that want to immerse themselves into Italian life this is the line for you.

There is typical Italian cuisine in the restaurants, but the entertainment is not that good.

The ship is not that generous on deck space although the interior layout is good.

Hints & Tips

There are several languages used in announcements which can be irritating and due to the cosmopolitan European crowd, lots of smoking.

Seating at the restaurants can be with people you don’t know and can’t communicate with.

There is an onboard drive for extra sales.
