Dining

There are 2 main restaurants namely La Carvela and L`Aprodo. Both the restaurants offer 1 open sitting for breakfast and 2 open sittings for lunch and dinner. The restaurants are noisy but well-ventilated and gracefully designed with cramped table space. The menu consists of Italian cuisine offering 6 courses, with appetizer, soup, salad, a risotto and pasta du jour, main entree and dessert. Wines are reasonably priced. All the restaurants are non-smoking areas. The open and close timings for both the restaurants differ by half an hour.

Le Vele, the buffet restaurant offers lido-style fare. For breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon, hash-browns and breads are served. At lunch, there is a separate dessert and fruit station. Other items include salads, an array of cold cuts, hot and cold items, pastas, a carving station, a variety of fresh fruit and traditional desserts.

II Patio, situated outside the Le Vele, offers al fresco snacks mainly during the day. Adjacent to this there is a pizzeria producing fresh oven-baked pizza with at least 2 varieties in addition to cheese. On the other side is the fast-food area serving made-to-order omelettes and a pancake station. During afternoons, grilled burgers and hot dogs are served. Mario, the cheerful Maitre d`Hotel, occasionally cooks a speciality which is not featured on the menu, at the entrance of the dining rooms. There is a buffet every evening at midnight.

Magnifique Buffet is the European style buffet.

Dress code is casual during the day, for the evening it may range from smart casual to informal. For formal evenings, its suit or dinner jacket for men and cocktail dress for ladies.

There is a free cabin service for breakfast, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Snacks are charged at flat rate and alcoholic beverages at bar prices. Room service is available throughout the day.

Entertainment

There are professional production shows, individual performances and musicians in addition to the ship`s animation team.

The 2-storeyed Caruso Theatre stages main production and movie shows. The seating arrangement is made of 1 steep ascending tier. At the Del Opera Theatre, professional and multilingual entertainment is provided. The production shows staged at night are flashy, colourful and lively. There is a music performance and magic show where magicians interact with the guests.

The 24-hour Virtual Reality Arcade is situated near the Byblos Disco. Other entertainment venues are the Sotto Vento pub, the Biblos Disco, Via Condotti shopping arcade.

The library is well-stocked with a large assortment of books. Also on-board in an Internet café, duty free shopping, boutiques and a card room.

Children`s recreation centre and their activities are fully supervised.
