The ship cruises out of New York, operating in the New England region and the Caribbean. Service is friendly, efficient and smooth.
SuitabilityA good option for families, singles and couples, although there are a lot of North American passengers, so those looking for something more British should look elsewhere.
Due to its itinerary and home port, this ship is unlikely to appeal to first-time, mass-market cruisers, although passengers wanting something a little different would be right at home, particularly if they wanted to add on a city break at New York.
Hints & TipsNCL is now packaging city breaks in New York with this cruise, at some excellent prices.
As with other ships in NCL’s fleet, freestyle cruising means there is a wide range of choice of when and where to eat. However, alternative restaurants get booked up quickly, so make reservations early. Be aware that many alternative restaurants cost extra.
