    
Write a Review on this Ship Public AreasThis is a big ship with 15 decks. Like all big ships, the outdoor decks can get crowded. There are two outdoor pools, one indoor pool and five Jacuzzis.
The Stardust Theatre, set over two decks, is styled like a European opera house. There is a wide range of bars including a champagne bar and martini lounge.
The ships spa and beauty salon are situated on Decks 10 and 11. There are 21 rooms for health and beauty treatments. Among them, three rooms are specially designed for couples. The on-board facilities are cinema, auditorium, meeting rooms, library, activity centre, card room and writing and reading room.
Sports facilities include a jogging track, basketball court, tennis/paddle tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard and ping-pong. A private children’s deck, childcare centre and a separate pool area is available on the ship.
CabinsNorwegian Star has 1,112 cabins in 30 different grades and prices.
The biggest accommodation is in the ship’s two luxurious Garden Villas, each with a separate living room, dining room, three bedrooms, luxury bathroom, CD and DVD library as well as a private garden with outdoor dining area and terrace and a butler service.
The next grade down is the Owner’s Suites, of which there are four on the ship. For families, they can be connected to a adjoining suites and/or cabins.
The basic interior/exterior cabins, though adequate and nicely decorated, are not as spacious as those found on rival ships.
The ship has five wheelchair cabins for disabled cruisers.
