Overview

Smaller than some of the other ships in the fleet, this is nevertheless a big vessel (2,000 passengers). On-board ambience is similar to the other Princess ships, and there is the same, excellent choice of alternative dining options. There are no tables for two in the main dining area. Service is of a good standard, although passengers are not escorted to cabins on arrival.

The ship is nearly 16 years old now, and underwent a refit a few years ago, mainly focusing on eating areas, to enable to ship to operate flexible dining options, in line with the cruise operator’s policy.

Suitability

Although less Americanised than rivals such as Royal Caribbean and Carnival, Princess is still geared heavily towards this market. However, it is a good option for first-timers, regular cruisers and couples.

Hints & Tips

Tips are automatically added to your on-board account and can be removed upon request.

There is a charge for using the self-service launderette.
