Public Areas

The ship has 12 decks. Deck 4 comprises pool, Marina, tender lobby and medical centre. Deck 5 contains Marina Bar, Marina Restaurant, Street Café, Fredy’s Deli, The World’s Boutique, Lobby Bar, plaza, Cigar Club, Quantum Night Club, art gallery, Colosseo Theatre, House Of Graff, Atlantic & Pacific Conference Room, card room, The World Spa, sauna, casino, beauty parlour, concierge, Harmony house Of Worship, lobby and reception. Deck 6 features internet café, The garden Tea Room and The Study. A promenade deck walkway, a helicopter pad and a jogging track are situated on Deck 7. Deck 11 houses Tides Restaurant, Pool Grill, East Restaurant, Sushi Bar, Regatta, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The Sports Deck has The World Golf & Country Club, Junior Lounge, a golf simulator, tennis court, putting green and 2 driving ranges.

For confidential parties and meetings Atlantic and Pacific Conference Rooms are available on prior reservation with audio/visual equipment.

The ship has 2 swimming pools and a Jacuzzi. On-board sports activities include, jogging track, water sports, tennis court and golf simulator. The Golf Club has a computerised training system that detects and helps correct flaws. The ship also has a retractable marina for water sports.

The health, fitness and beauty centre has numerous treatment rooms, sauna and solarium.
The well-equipped spa offers a wide range of services such as massages, body wraps, skin and body treatments, thalasotherapy and hydrotherapy. The World Spa’s Salon provides manicures and pedicures.

Cabins

The World is an apartment cruise ship which has 109 luxury apartments for sale and ownership.

The ship also has guest suites which come in 5 grades: Adagio, Libretto, Concerto, Sonata and Rhapsody which range in size from 103 sq metres to 24 sq metres.

All suites have twin beds convertible to a double, safe, writing desk, dressing table, separate sitting area, fridge, cocktail cabinet, TV/VCR, marble bathroom with bathtub and shower.
The topmost suite is facilitated with separate bedrooms fitted with walk-in wardrobes.

In each category of suites 2 are designated for disabled cruisers. Also 2 suites are specially designed for the hearing impaired and 2 are wheelchair accessible.
