The ship’s catchline is: “Travel the world without leaving home,” and many of the apartments are owned by the rich and famous. The ship circumnavigates the globe, stopping one or two nights in ports and often coinciding with major events, such as the Cannes Film Festival or Rio Carnival. Service is very good.SuitabilityIf you have at least £1 million to spare, you could own your own apartment, otherwise you can rent one starting at £1,000 a night. There are also guest suites that are sold on a traditional cruise basis, attracting people who want an upmarket experience and who are prepared to pay for the privilege.Hints & TipsThis ship spends more time in port than traditional cruise ships.
There are lots of eating alternatives and you can dine in your apartment (24-hour notice is required).
Bear in mind that cruises that coincide with popular events, such as the Monaco Grand Prix, are generally fully booked.
