Public Areas

With 15 decks of activity, the only problem will be how to fit everything in during your week on board.

There are 16 bars. One of them, Viking Crown Lounge, transforms into a jazz club at night. The huge casino wouldn’t look out of place in Las Vegas.

The ship has a huge spa, adult whirlpools that jut out over the ocean, an ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall, water park, and full-size boxing ring.

A feature of Freedom of the Seas, like her sister ships, is the imaginative use of the Royal Promenade area, which has a coffee shop, malt whiskey shop; burger and pizzeria outlets; bistro; wine bar, champagne bar; barbershop and a sports shop.

Cabins

Every cabin has its own flat-screen TV, minimum size 23-inch. There are six different family cabin options, the biggest of which are the Royal Family suites, which hold eight people. If required, they can connect to a neighbouring cabin to increase occupancy to 10.

There are also eight six-person Family Ocean view rooms, four six person Promenade Family rooms, and two six-person Inside Family rooms. The biggest cabin is the 14-person Presidential Suite, with dual entryways and two master bedrooms, each with their own 30-inch flat-screen TV.

Promenade-view cabins are very popular, and sell at a premium, as these overlook the main thoroughfare, with its street parades and entertainers.
