Public Areas

The ship has 12 passenger decks. Facilities include the three-storey theatre, two-storey main dining room, a conference centre, art gallery, library, billiard club and card club.

Sporting options include a rock-climbing wall, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis and golf (extra charge).

The ShipShape fitness centre has fitness equipment, saunas, whirlpools, and daily classes including yoga and Pilates.

Deck 12, the main sun deck, can be quite crowded, and there is often a scramble to nab on of the 570 sun lounges. There is also a jogging track, bar and great views over the sea on this deck. There is a small pool on Deck 11, with two whirlpools, a bar and a bandstand.

Dedicated kids’ clubs run daily.

One of the ship’s endearing aspects is the huge amount of glass throughout, which lets in lots of light, enables passengers to get good views of the surroundings and giving a sense of space.

Cabins

There are 1,050 cabins, ranging from 15-sq-metre interiors to 93-sq-metre Royal Suites, the top accommodation.

Almost 600 cabins have balconies, and a further 300 are outside view cabins with no balconies.

Each cabin has a private bathroom and sitting area with sofa. Other amenities include interactive TV through which customers may order room service, computer terminal for Internet access, telephone, a vanity unit, hairdryer, fridge, minibar and beds that can be converted into a double or single.

The Royal Suite comprises a king-size bed, personal balcony, drawing room with queen-size sofa bed, whirlpool bathtub, an exclusive dining area, baby grand piano, two TVs, spacious bathroom with self-contained shower unit. Most of the suites have their own concierge service.

Fourteen cabins are designed for people with disabilities.
