Dining

There are six restaurants on-board. The three main restaurants are Vivaldi, Strauss and Mozart. All are located on 3 levels connected by a sweeping staircase. Open sitting is the norm here for breakfast and lunch. However, reservations are required for dinner. Tables are assigned for the duration of the cruise depending on availability. The menu is the same for all three restaurants and all offer low fat food and a special menu for children.

Portofino is a reservations-only restaurant specialising in Italian cuisine and serving Seattle’s Best coffee blends and speciality beverages.

Windjammer is the casual dining option, serving buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks throughout the day.

Johnny Rockets serves typical American fare such as shakes, burgers, fries and sodas. An entry fee is charged, which includes gratuities.

The Café Promenade features Seattle’s Best coffee and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
The English-style Duck and Dog Pub specialises in imported beers and ales.

Complimentary room service is provided to all for breakfast, lunch and dinner on a 24-hour basis.

Entertainment

The Lyric Theatre on deck five has Broadway-style shows; music and cabaret are also performed in the Imperial Lounge. The Studio B lounge has a wide range of activities throughout the day, including ice-skating and cookery demonstrations.

Unlike any other cruise line, Royal Caribbean has made use of its interior promenade area and turned it into an entertainment venue, with clowns and street performers.

The Viking Crown lounge doubles as the nightclub and there is a teenagers-only club, Optix Teen Disco.

Other options include the ship’s casino, Casino Royale.
