Overview

One of the line’s Sovereign-class ships, it is an older vessel that has recently been refitted to include a bigger fitness centre and rock-climbing wall. It is impressive and still stylish. It has smaller cabins than the newer ships in the fleet, but there is still plenty to do.

Service is friendly rather than sophisticated.

Suitability

An excellent choice for couples, first-timers and experienced cruisers, as there is so much to do on board. Good value for money.

While all Royal Caribbean ships are family-orientated, passengers with younger children may prefer to book with one of the line’s newer, larger ships.

There are lots of Americans on board and passengers who want a more British experience may prefer to travel on P&O.
