The Dining Room has a nautical theme, it is decorated with cool blue fabrics and rich dark wood. All meals served are waiter-service, however to make the atmosphere more relaxed there are no fixed seating plans or sittings. A typical menu will consist of wild mushroom risotto with asparagus tips, roast sea bass with braised fennel followed by chocolate and amaretto roulade.
There will be usually one or two formal nights where gentlemen are requested to wear a dinner jacket or lounge suit and ladies a dress or evening trousers and a smart top. 24 hour room service is available.
Entertainment
Entertainment on-board ranges from professional singers to cultural shows or evenings of jazz. At many ports of call musicians or artisans will come aboard and entertain passengers with music and folklore of the region.
The library contains 3000 reference books and novels. Also contained in the library is a bar that serves tea and coffee and four computer workstations. Also available is the Briefing Room this is used for presentations and screens films. The Lounge is used for during the day on-board lectures and in the evening offers varied entertainment.
