Veranda Deck accommodates the Britannia Lounge, North Cape Bar, library, Shakespeare`s Card Room, gift shop, Grand Ballroom, theatre, Lido Café, Lido Deck and outdoor swimming pool. Promenade Deck houses the Polaris Club. Computer Learning Centre is on the Terraced Officer`s Deck. When wet, the varnished pine and teak decks are slippery.
The on-board leisure facilities include a bar, theatre, a show lounge and library. The ship has 2 swimming pools; 1 outdoor pool on Veranda Deck and an indoor pool in the spa. The deck area also features enough space for sunbathing along with a golf driving net and a jogging track. The well-equipped gym also has a personal instructor with whom guests can arrange for a personal training. Guests can also play games like shuffleboard and quoits.
The Harding Bros Spa is well-equipped and has sauna, massage and other treatment rooms. The beauty parlour has trained beauticians offering hairstyling, manicures, facials and pedicures. Hairdressing products can be bought on-board.
There are no exclusive facilities for children. This cruise is only for guests above 50 years; hence kids are not permitted.CabinsSaga Rose has 328 cabins graded from Z to OE. Suites measure 36 sq metres and standard single inside cabins measure 9 sq metres. 268 cabins have an ocean view and 26 cabins have a balcony. Decor is trendy Scandinavian with wood-finish. Nearly all cabins are situated outside either with partial views or overlooking the public areas. There are 60 single cabins and most of them are large with good storage and hanging space. Every cabin has a TV, radio, hairdryer and telephone. Many cabins have separate sitting areas, full-size bathtubs, showers, bathrobes, large picture windows and full-length mirrors.
All suites have 2 separate rooms, a bedroom and living room. Deluxe cabins and suites, in addition to these facilities have private verandas. Cabins A, B, C and suites have VCRs and fridges. Most of the single inside cabins (OE) contain a shower while a few have a bath and shower.
There are 2 wheelchair cabins for the disabled cruisers.
