The on-board atmosphere is most definitely young American, which seems to jar a little with the formal dining routine – four sitting instead of the usual two - until you see everything stop mid-meal for singing and dancing with the crew.
Special features include a sushi bar, 214-foot waterslide and giant poolside screen for showing movies, sporting events and concerts.SuitabilityThey don’t call Carnival vessels fun ships for nothing. This is ideal for couples and families who want a lively cruise on a big ship offering non-stop activities. It is also great for groups of friends who want a fun time away together.
Camp Carnival kids club is open for children aged from two to 11, split into three age groups – two to five, six to eight and nine to 11 – and teens aged 12-15.Hints & TipsA teen excursion programme allows 12-15-year-olds to go sightseeing with their friends, so mums and dads should budget accordingly.
Book early for the Sun King Supper Club. It costs extra but the food is far superior to that served in the dining rooms.
A moderate per passenger gratuity is automatically added daily to cruise accounts. It can be removed or the amount reduced or raised on request.
Pick your place in the theatre with care as the pillars obstruct the view from several seats.
