Overview

Sister ship to Glory, Valour and Liberty, this is a huge, glitzy vessel, with 3,000 passengers. There is lots to do on board, and passengers like to party until the early hours.
Service is quick, but there is lots of up-selling, which Brits can find to be pushy.

Suitability

Carnival is aimed at a younger, predominantly American crowd that likes to have fun. This can be a culture shock to Brits who are fans of the more refined P&O-type cruises. If you hate having your picture taken, this is not the cruise for you, as the ship’s photographers are everywhere.

Generally very good value for money. Of all the Carnival fleet, this is one of the best options for families.
