Staff not as friendly as on a RCCI cruise, tables in restaurants not cleared promptly. Restaurants fully booked despite displays showing availability. Staff in Mamas Kitchen said that they had been too busy to update the computer, therefore although display showing restaurant fairly empty, it was in fact full and fully booked for the rest of the week. The Freestyle dining did not work on this occasion, and is not for me. Cruise was ideal for people with families.
Freestyle is for me, June 2006 Reviewer: Kerry McQuade from Kilmarnock, UK I sailed on the Jewel on the Western Mediterranean cruise. I really enjoyed it. I stayed in an inside cabin. I had dinner in a different restaurant every night and Mama's Italian Kitchen was the best. This was my first cruise, however I have since travelled on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas, and I would never cruise again unless it was a freestyle ship. This is the best idea in the world.
