Musica combines traditional Italian service, style and cuisine associated with MSC, with some more innovative aspects that bring it into line with some of the better-known cruiselines on the market. Already well known for its good food, Musica’s culinary flavours are a step up and will be an added attraction.
The ship sails out of Venice, around the Mediterranean.
Service has yet to be rated, but expect the same good service and attention to detail as is standard with MSC.SuitabilityGood for couples, both first-timers and experienced cruisers, who enjoy being around other nationalities (particularly, but not exclusively) Italians.
Single people may not find it as easy to have conversations with like-minded people as on some of the other ships, and Anglophiles who want a purely British experience should stick to Thomson, P&O or Fred Olsen, depending on their budget.
Kids’ facilities, though good, are better on other ships.Hints & TipsThere are regular passenger announcements, which can be annoying.
There is a surcharge for drinks at the bar.
