Dining

MSC Orchestra sticks with the traditional fixed dining system so passengers are allocated a table and a time to eat for the duration of the cruise in the two main restaurants - L’Ibiscus on deck six and Villa Borghese on deck five.

Meals are served at 7pm and 9pm; passengers should state their preference at the time of booking.

Self-service breakfast and lunch is available in La Piazzetta Cafeteria, the rear section of which is transformed into the Four Seasons Restaurant in the evening. Tables here must be booked and there is a reasonable per person supplement.

Bookings are also required for the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant on deck seven, which seats 68 people. The à la carte menu features individually-priced dishes from four regions of China, served by Indonesian waiters.

Entertainment

There are production shows, comedians and magic acts in the theatre every evening - usually two performances a night, one for each dinner sitting.

As night falls there are also live bands and pianists playing in lounges around the ship. The Shaker Lounge has a big dance floor, which is also used for dance lessons by day. A trio plays late into the night at the Amber Bar.

Alternatively, passengers can try their luck in the casino then dance the night away in the disco – it opens at 11pm and keeps going until the wee small hours.
