    
Write a Review on this Ship DiningRoyal Caribbean sticks with traditional fixed dining in the three-storey-high main restaurant in the evening, with two sittings – one at 18.15pm and one at 20.30pm – at which passengers are allocated the same table, sharing with other passengers, and waiter for the duration of the cruise.
For an alternative, there are two speciality restaurants – Chops Grille serves giant steaks and other hearty meat and fish dishes; Portofino is an Italian. Both have a small cover charge.
The main restaurant is also open for waiter-service breakfast and lunch, with the Windjammer and Jade self-service buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner for those who prefer to help themselves.
Johnny Rockets, a fun 50s-style US diner complete with juke box and dancing waiters on deck 12, serves burgers, fries and milkshakes for a small charge.
Passengers can also pick up sandwiches, cookies and pizzas from the cafés on the Royal Promenade.EntertainmentA ship this size has the room to hold a huge theatre, enabling 1,350 people to see high-standard Broadway-style musicals and performances. The ice rink, which is open to the public during the day, doubles as a 760-seater venue for professional ice skating performances.
The ship’s disco is also huge, on two floors.
There are big shows each night in the theatre, ranging from classic song and dance to more imaginative programmes with clever visual effects. Royal Caribbean also regularly brings in a big-name (for an American audience) singer, as well as magicians and comedians.
Live bands, singers and pianists play in the lounges and bars around the ship each night and there’s an ice-skating show on each cruise.
