   
Write a Review on this Ship DiningCarnival Freedom follows the fixed dining tradition, which means passengers are allocated a restaurant, table and time to eat at the start of the cruise.
There are two dining rooms, Posh and Chic, which are on decks three and four, and four sittings - 5.45pm and 6.15pm, and 8pm or 8.30pm. Passengers should state their preferred time when booking.
The Sun King Supper Club, named after Louis XIV, on deck 10 is a reservations-only restaurant serving steaks and seafood. There is a substantial per person charge to dine here, as well as space on the bill to leave an optional gratuity.
For more casual dining, the Freedom self-service restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and has various food stations serving different dishes, for instance a deli, an oriental bar and, on the upper level, a fish and chip outlet. Outside, by the aft pool there is a pizzeria, plus a burger and hotdog bar.
In the evening, the buffet is transformed into a casual serve-yourself Seaview Bistro. This does not open on the last night of the cruise.
Coffee and pastries are available from the Viennese Café on deck five at extra cost. There is also a charge for sushi, also on deck five. EntertainmentThe three-deck-high Victoriana theatre, decked out to look like a West End theatre in the time of Queen Victoria, is the main entertainment venue, laying on Las Vegas-style song-and-dance productions and cabaret acts. There are two shows a night, timed to start after the first and second dinner sittings.
Daytime activities include quizzes, pool games and bingo, and there is live music round the pools in the afternoons.
Come evening, live bands play in various venues around the ship, including in the Supper Club, adding to the ambience, Habana Club and dining rooms.
