The ship features 4 swimming pools and 1 is reserved for children. Number of bars such as All Star Bar, Destiny Bar, Apollo Bar and Cheers Wine Bar are present on the Promenade deck. The Promenade deck also features Point After Dance Club, Criterion Lounge and the Millionaires Club Casino. The Lobby Deck comprises the Flagship Bar, Galaxy Dining Room and Universe Dining Room. For sports enthusiasts there is a jogging track on the Sun deck which also accommodates a children’s play room.
The on-board facilities include 10 bars, 7 Jacuzzis, 3 restaurants, a casino, an Internet café, a nightclub, a photo studio and a library. The Lido deck features 2 pools namely Lido Pool and the Sun & Sea Pool and Sun & Sea Restaurant. On this deck there are 2 bars named Solar Bar and Stellar Bar.
The Spa Deck features Nautica Spa, gym and a 200 feet waterslide. The Nautica Spa with separate sections for men and women offers sauna, massage and beauty treatments. Various beauty treatments offered by the spa include facials, pedicures and manicures. The gym has the state-of the-art fitness equipment like treadmills, Stairmasters, stationary bikes, rowing machines, free weights and progressive resistance machines. There are on-board fitness experts in the gym to assist the cruisers who wish to take up fitness lessons.
A multitude of other facilities like Internet café and library are available on the Atlantic Deck.CabinsCarnival Destiny has 1321 cabins ranging from Penthouse suites to inside staterooms. The Penthouse suites are the most luxurious suites measuring 40 sq metres. The lower grade inside staterooms measures 17 sq metres. The ship contains 515 inside cabins and 388 ocean view cabins. 418 cabins have balconies. The ship has 16 family staterooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows.
All the cabins and suites have carpeting, sitting area and ample drawer and closet space. The staterooms have amenities such as a shower, phone, TV, personal safe, toilet and basin. All the higher grade suites have in additional feature facilities such as VCRs, fridge, whirlpool bath, walk-in closet and large vanity/dressing tables. Of the total 1321 cabins, two-third of the cabins have verandas.
For disabled passengers, there are 25 specially designed cabins.
