There are fewer cabins with balconies than on some of the newer, bigger ships in the fleet. Service is friendly, rather than slick.
SuitabilityGood value for money and popular with couples, families, first-timers and experienced cruisers.
The ship has family suites, and all the line’s ships have good kids’ facilities, however, facilities for younger children are much better on one of the bigger, newer Royal Caribbean ships. Hints & TipsText-mad cruisers will be pleased to know that mobile phones can be used at sea. As on many big ships, the excursions sell out quickly.
Pre-paid drinks packages for adults and soda packages for kids are available.
There is a relaxation room in the spa, which is free to use and passengers don’t have to book a treatment to use it.
On-line check in has just become available, saving lengthy queues at embarkation.
