Dining

There are two main dining rooms. The two-storey, elegantly decorated Minstrel dining room is the main dining room, with waiter service. Open seating operates at breakfast and lunch, while seats for dinner are assigned at reservation, according to time and availability.

The Windjammer Café is the ship’s 24-hour casual dining venue. Other options include the outdoor restaurant, Seaview Café, serving sandwiches, desserts, beer and wine.

Portofino is a reservation-only restaurant, offering delicious Italian cuisine in a romantic ambience.

Chops Grille is the ideal place to celebrate a special occasion or just to have a great dinner, serving juicy steaks, delectable deserts, fresh seafood, and side dishes in an elegant atmosphere.

Latté-tudes, the on-board coffee bar is the place for a coffee break.

Twenty-four-hour room service is provided at no extra charge.

During the day, dress code is casual and smart casual in the evenings. There are optional formal nights.

Entertainment

Pacifica is the main theatre and is situated on two levels. Broadway-style productions, movies, lectures, talks and demonstrations are held here.

The Schooner Bar is the place to relax and listen to a pianist. The Champagne Bar offers wines, champagnes and a variety of canapés.

The Viking Crown Lounge is situated at the top of the ship, with excellent 360-degree views. In the evening, it doubles up as the ship’s disco.

Sports matches are shown in the Sports Bar.

Casino Royale is the ship’s casino.

Kids’ facilities are excellent. Parents can attend educational programmes with their under threes, while there is an Adventure Ocean programme for kids aged three to 17.
