There are 4 restaurants on-board. Rotterdam is the main dining room while Marco Polo Italian Restaurant, Lido Restaurant, Pinnacle Grill and Terrace Grill are the alternative restaurants. North American fare is available along with Dutch and Indonesian cuisine.
The Rotterdam Restaurant serves high quality food which includes spicy gazpacho, portabello mushroom pot pie, cherry-glazed duck breast and chocolate profiteroles. The Marco Polo Restaurant on Promenade Deck serves Italian cuisine.
The Lido is an informal buffet style restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. The Pinnacle Grill is an alternative restaurant serving North West inspired cuisine. The Java Café serves coffee, tea, pastries and cookies.
The dress code is casual during the day and smart casuals for the evenings (jacket for men and casual elegance for ladies). Men are suggested to wear a suit or dinner jacket and cocktail dress for women during formal nights.
Entertainment
The highlight of the ship is a 3-level atrium which has a 22-ft high Dutch pipe organ with mechanical sculptures. The main show lounge has a rotating dance floor which can be elevated by hydraulics. Broadway-style shows are held here with all its accompanying grandeur.
The Explorer’s Lounge is the ideal place for after dinner drinks and chocolates. The piano bar and sea view lounge are perfect for pre-dinner drinks.
The ocean view library is well-stocked and furnished with an inlaid marble table. There is an Internet centre which is open round the clock. The on-board casino offers gaming options such as blackjack, Caribbean stud poker, roulette and dice.
If you like watching sports then the casino bar features live sports broadcasts. The Crow’s Nest Disco is open through the night, and the Crow’s Nest Lounge provides excellent panoramic views. The Wajang Theatre screens movies of every genre including comedy and drama. Movies are screened in the afternoons and evenings.
At Club HAL supervised games and parties are organised. The play area is small and large numbers cannot be accommodated.
