Public Areas

The ship has 16 decks out of which 12 are used by passengers. All decks are quite spacious.

Medea deck is the uppermost deck. Pandora deck has a tennis court and jogging track. Cleopatra deck houses the aerobics area, solarium and Club Medusa.

The Olympia Gym extends through Cleopatra deck and Armonia deck. Armonia deck features the Olympia Gym, Ischia Spa, Armonia Pool, Cadmo Pool, Venus Beauty Salon, Posillipo Pizzeria, Perla del Lago Buffet and Apollo Pool and Bar. Squok Children’s Room is located on the Orfeo deck. Teseo deck has an arcade and a chapel.

Bacco deck accommodates the Oriental Lounge, Winter Terrace, library/Internet cafe, Via Condotti Shops, conference centre, photo gallery, Dionisio Lounge and Roero Bar. Degli Argentieri extends through Bacco deck and Tersicore deck.

Tersicore deck features the Talia Lounge, information desk, tour office, Maschera D`Argento Bar/Atrium, Grand Canal Casino, Piazza Casanova and a card room. Giardino Isolabella Lounge is located on the Circe deck. Osiris Theater stretches over the Bacco, Tersicore and Teseo decks. Sevla Disco occupies the Tersicore deck as well as Circe deck.

The ship has 3 swimming pools and one of the pools has a magradome cover.

The on-board leisure facilities include 3 bars, a casino and a library with internet café.
Recreational facilities include an outdoor jogging track, gym, fitness centre, solarium and a sports court for playing tennis, basketball and volleyball. Sauna, steam room and treatment rooms provide a variety of health treatments to rejuvenate passengers such as a full-body massage, facial and a Turkish bath at the Ischia Spa.

The Squok club has a play room and swimming pool to entertain children. There is a video games room for teenagers.

Cabins

Costa Mediterranea has 1057 cabins, ranging from inside cabins (1) to Grand suites (GS). The size of a Grand suite is 35 sq metres. The interior cabins are 15 sq metres in size. There are 167 cabins which provide an ocean view and 678 cabins have a balcony.

All cabins have sufficient storage space and have standard amenities, such as 2 lower beds convertible to a queen-size bed, air-conditioning, satellite TV, phone, hairdryer, safe, minibar and a private bathroom with shower. The suites have additional facilities such as a private veranda, sitting area and a whirlpool bath.

There are 8 wheelchair cabins for disabled cruisers.
