   
Write a Review on this Ship OverviewAlmost identical to Regatta, also part of the Oceania fleet, Insignia used to be part of the now-defunct Renaissance Cruises fleet of ships, before joining Oceania, a new entrant in the cruise market.
A premium product that is popular among US passengers, the cruise line sails to interesting and unusual ports of call, combined with excellent on-board dining options and relaxed, yet elegant surroundings. There are several alternative dining areas, including a tapas bar. There are no formal nights.
Some of the crew have worked on other premium cruise lines, such as Silversea and Crystal and passengers say the service is excellent.
Most cabins have an outside view.SuitabilityThis ship is popular among experienced cruisers, including former Renaissance Cruise passengers who love the ship and are keen to see the improvements that have been made.
Most passengers are from the US, although it attracts people from all over the world, including Australia and Europe.
This ship costs less than other luxury ships on the market, and is good value for money.

15% is added to on-board drink bills.
Passengers booking Concierge level accommodation get priority embarkation and priority restaurant reservation services.
There is a self-service launderette.
It has an Internet room, Oceania@sea, where passengers can learn computer programmes such as Excel and Photoshop (at extra cost).
Reservations are required for Toscana, one of the alternative restaurants, but there is no extra charge.
