Just two years old, the ship offers very comfortable Mediterranean cruises with a good range of facilities in an Art Deco setting. There are 11 bars to enjoy and lots of public spaces off the massive atrium. There is a fine dining restaurant and a very functional theatre on three decks. Cabins are as expected with many balconies and all outside ones enjoy good views.
Staff are friendly and attentive, with a casual and fun outlook. Officers are generally Italian, but the rest of the crew are generally Filipino and offer good service.
Suitability
Most suited to those wanting a young, fun, cruise in an Italian-style. The client base is international families with children, European and youngish.
Hints & Tips
Get on the deck early as there is not a lot of space to cater for all passengers. Do be aware that, as with all Costa ships, it can be noisy in the public areas and in the restaurants.
