Overview

One of Carnival’s four Spirit-class ships, it is smaller than Liberty and her sister ships and slightly less frenetic than others in the fleet. There have been some enhancements to attract the family market and there is a wedding chapel for renewal of vows.
Service is quick, with lots of up-selling.

Suitability

Aimed at a younger, predominantly American crowd that likes to have fun. This can be a culture shock to Brits who are fans of the more refined P&O-type cruises. Generally very good value for money.

Hints & Tips

Charges are made to your on-board account for tips as soon as you arrive. This can be removed or altered at your request.

There is a charge for welcome drinks handed out on arrival, though this is not made clear when it is thrust in your hand. Buy a pre-paid Fountain Fun card to purchase soft drinks.

There is a babysitting service onboard.

There are headphones in the main showlounge for those who have difficulty hearing.
