One of the original “Love Boats”, of the US TV show Love Boat, this is an older ship that offers interesting itineraries for well-travelled people who would hate to be on board one of the mega-liners offered by mass-market cruise companies.

Expert lecturers are on board.

The ship is owned by the man who set up Orient Lines’ Marco Polo, and the same high quality of service applies.

Suitability

This ship suits the same clientele that would sail on board Orient Lines’ Marco Polo and Swan Hellenic’s Minerva II, with the same destination-intensive itineraries and emphasis on good-quality on-board lecturers. Not recommended for families.
