Dining

The Carmen dining room is the main dining area. Set over two decks, it has three sides of almost pure glass, giving panoramic views over the ocean. Diners can sit where they like at breakfast and lunch, while a set dining system operates at dinner.

Portofino Italian restaurant is a speciality restaurant, offering a memorable dining experience. Reservations should be made in advance.

Casual, buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in the Windjammer Café.

Latté-tudes serves Seattle`s Best Coffee, lattes, cappuccino, espresso, pastries and cookies; Ben & Jerry`s serves its famous ice cream (extra cost). A variety of salads, soups, sandwiches and burgers are available at the serving stations on deck.

24-hour room service is available.

Dress code is casual.

Entertainment

A variety of comedy and Broadway-style production shows are staged in the two-tier Strike up the Band showroom.

Dancing and cabaret shows also take place in the Latin-themed Bolero’s bar, while the Viking Crown lounge doubles up as a nightclub.

The arcade has plenty of video games for kids and teenagers. The Adventure Ocean Youth Programme is designed to provide a blend of education as well as entertainment to the children. It organises educational games for children in the 3-17 age group.

There is also a card room and plenty of sports facilities, including a rock-climbing wall.
