   
  Enjoyable first time cruise, April 2005

This was the last but one cruise under the Carousel name and the Airtours banner, visiting the Atlantic Islands. We enjoyed the experience of waking up in a new port every day (there was only one full day at sea), especially the days in Madeira and Morocco. The ship offered a variety of excursions and information about each port in handy daily leaflets. We found that individual exploration suited us best, and taxis with knowledgeable drivers were easy to find. We did participate in one organised tour to Marrakech, it was good value for money and the experience was definitely worth the effort of 4 hour coach trip through the Atlas Mountains.
The facilities on ship were fine. The staff was very helpful and always busy cleaning, tidying up, even paiting. The presentation of food was good, quite spectacular for 'Chocolate Midnight Feast'. The pool seemed small and the water did not warm up during the day, but it wasn't a problem as every day we were able to spend time on a different beach on the Canary Islands.
Our inside cabin was on a small side, a bit of a squeeze when the 3 of us tried to get ready for the Captain's evening. However, we spend very little time there, so it wasn't a problem. We enjoyed the overall experience and will cruise again this year on Ocean Village in the Caribbean.
