Dining

A total of 7 restaurants are available The 5 main restaurants are the Queen’s Grill, Princess Grill, Britannia Grill, Caronia Restaurant and the Mauretania Restaurant.
The 2 alternative dining venues are the Lido Café and the Pavillion.

Queen’s Grill is a single seating restaurant with a la carte menu where dishes are made by the table side. Cruisers of both Penthouse suites and the top-range outside cabins dine in Queen’s Grill.

The Princess and Britannia Grills and the Caronia Restaurant all have single sitting dining with a la carte menus, while the Mauretania Restaurant operates a 2-sitting service for cruisers from the lower grade cabins.
Lido Café is an informal, buffet-style restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a midnight buffet. Themed dinners such as French, Italian, Mexican and Indian are also available. Cruisers also can make use of the room service menu available in this cafe, which works round the clock.

Casual and comfortable dress is the order of the day, while in the evenings its smart casual dress. During formal evenings men are expected to be in suit or dinner jacket, while ladies in a cocktail dress. Room service works round the clock.

Entertainment

The main entertainment area is called the Grand Lounge, which can host 590 passengers in theatre style. It features musical shows, cabarets, live singers and classical music.

The casino is located on the upper deck.

Queen’s Room is the ballroom, where passengers can dance to the tune of the ship's orchestra; afternoon tea, with white-gloved waiters, is also served here. The Chart Room Bar is located on the upper deck and contains nautical charts and instruments; you can relax here while listening to the pianist playing the tunes of Gershwin.

Golden Lion Pub is a British style pub serving draught beer. it has an upright piano and in the evening conducts karaoke. If you like to dance then one option is the Yacht Club where you can dance the night away to the early hours. For a trip down memory lane, visit the Heritage Trail where you can see old photographs, different models and items of previous ships.

The computer learning centre is located on the deck 2 has 8 internet access stations.
The library contains books of 5 different languages and video cassettes available for cruisers from higher grade cabins and suites having VCRs.
Royal Promenade boutiques carry souvenirs, clothing, jewellery, perfumes and also a section from Harrods.

Club 2000 contains a separate place for grown up children and the teens to move around on the ship. Young people have programmes conducted by the Youth Director and activities of Club 2000 found on Quarter Deck. The children are also entertained in the disco and the video arcade.

The on-board nursery carries toys, games and programmes to entertain children of 7 years old and below under the supervision of well trained staff.
