Public Areas

The ship has 8 passenger decks. The ship has 2 large pools and a children’s pool.

The Sun Deck consists of a jogging track, sliding transparent roof over Riviera Terrace and pool with magradome. The Pool Deck features the Calypso Bar, Blue Riband Bar, Calypso Pool, Goombay Bar, Promenade, Riviera Pool, Riviera Terrace, Seasport Fitness and Health Centre, whirlpools, massage room, beauty salon, Satellite Cafe and Sunrise Terrace. On the Lounge Deck, there is a photo gallery, Starlight Disco, Junkanoo Club and Bar, Club Universe, casino, video game room and shops. Premier Deck comprises of the children`s recreation centre, children`s pool and tour office. Mercury Theatre is found on the Continental Deck. Galaxy Restaurant and the medical centre are located on the Restaurant Deck.

For leisure facilities, there are 6 bars, 2 lounges, 2 pubs, casino, library, card room, cinema, discotheque, duty free shopping boutique and conference facilities. For those who enjoy activity and sports there are many recreational options, including a jogging track, 2 Jacuzzi, gym, fitness centre and 2 swimming pools. Seaport Fitness & Health Centre contains the modern cardiovascular paraphernalia.

A recreation centre and a pool are available for children.

Cabins

MSC Melody has 532 cabins ranging from Suites measuring 41 sq metres to Interior staterooms measuring 14 sq metres. There are 303 outside cabins, 151 inside cabins, 6 suites and 72 minisuites.

None of the cabins on-board have a balcony, however the cabins are well-suited for families as they can accommodate 3-4 passengers. Double occupancy cabins are spacious but sound proofing is not good. The cabins are quiet spacious with ample storage space, compact bathrooms, air-conditioning, satellite TV, radio and a telephone. Deluxe Suite, the most luxurious, has a bedroom with king-size bed, bath, a sitting area, sofa bed, safe, living room, TV, radio, and minibar.

For the disabled cruisers, there are 4 specially designed cabins.
